    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

The Philippine Embassy will conduct a consular outreach mission in Jersey on 15-16 December 2023 (Friday afternoon–Saturday whole day).

Dual Citizenship Jersey Outreach

The venue will be announced in due course.

Due to the limited slots, not all registrants may be accommodated. This notwithstanding, the outreach team will endeavour to serve as many clients as possible.

Representatives of MWO-OWWA, SSS, DOT, and COMELEC will join the outreach. There is no need to register for the services of these agencies.

Intl Nurses Midwives
 
The event spotlighted the diversity of nurses and midwives in the UK and paid tribute to the invaluable contribution of the internationally educated workforce.
 
The celebrations came as part of the 75th anniversary of the National Health Service (NHS) while coinciding with the King's 75th birthday.
 
More than 400 nurses and midwives were present at the reception.
 

Silent Ceremony 1

Ambassador and Mrs. Locsin attended the Silent Ceremony (Admission of Lord Mayor of London) of Mr. Michael Mainelli, the 695th Lord Mayor of the City of London on 10 November 2023 at the Guildhall.

British Chamber of Commerce

 Ambassador Locsin met Mr. Chris Nelson, Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in Manila, to discuss growing economic cooperation between the Philippines and UK.
