    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

LONDON 01 September 2023 – Sentro Rizal London organized a Workshop on Philippine Folk Dances entitled, “Dancing Through Time: Embracing Our Filipino Heritage,” at Amberley Clubroom, Westminster, on 01 September 2023.

London, 13 August 2023 – Under the Chairship of the Philippine Embassy led by Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr., the ASEAN London Committee (ALC) celebrated ASEAN Month and ASEAN Day by organizing the 3rd ASEAN Family Day in London. The event was attended by the Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and staff of all ten (10) ASEAN Missions in London together with their families, totalling almost 500 attendees.

Ambassador and Mrs. Teodoro L Locsin, Jr., together with Embassy officers and staff, joined the Filipino-British Community in Stevenage in their celebration of Barrio Fiesta 2023.

Venetia de Blocq van Kuffeler, editor of leading foreign affairs publication Diplomat Magazine, interviewed Ambassador Locsin today at the Embassy. Among the topics they discussed were Ambassador Locsin’s plans and priorities as Philippine Ambassador to the UK and the Ambassador’s memorable experiences in his storied careers in law, politics and diplomacy.
