    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

Ambassador and Mrs. Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. joined the  recent 1st anniversary celebration of Filipinos in Care CIC, an organization of Filipinos working in the social care sector.

The occasion was an opportunity to celebrate FWA UK’s achievements and contributions to the Filipino community in the UK and to the Philippines. The gathering included games, salo-salo of Filipino cuisine and fellowship with the attendees.

Five inspiring Filipino leaders in the social care sector shared their insights and imparted valuable lessons at the Filipinos in Care (FIC) UK's recent 1st anniversary celebration.
