    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

Ambassador Locsin cast the Philippine vote during the elections for the International Maritime Organization Secretary-General yesterday.

21-year-old World No. 2 in Cable Wakeboarding Raphael Trinidad paid a courtesy call today on Ambassador Locsin at the Embassy. Raph garnered silver in the 2022 SINGHA IWWK World Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships and is currently in the UK for a competition.
