Philippine Embassy in London Conducts Overseas Voting Registration in Dublin, Ireland
The Philippine Embassy in London conducted overseas voting field registration on 03-05 March 2023 in Dublin, Ireland. Over a hundred Filipinos availed of the overseas registration services. A number of registrants, who had been living and working in Ireland for several years and had only recently reacquired or retained their Philippine citizenship, expressed their appreciation for the ease and efficiency of the registration service.
The Embassy continues to encourage eligible individuals to register themselves as overseas voters to enable them to participate in the upcoming 2025 National Elections.
Wellness Event for OFWs Held for Women’s Month
The Philippine Embassy in London held a free Zumba and mental health seminar for OFWs on 12 March 2023 at the Tollgate Gardens Community Center in Kilburn, London. The event, spearheaded by the Migrant Workers’ Office (MWO)-Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA) London, had over fifty (50) participants. Dubbed “We Juana Be Healthy,” the event highlighted a two-pronged approach to wellness --- the physical and the psychological.

The Philippine Embassy in London will continue its #PurpleWednesdays for the month of March in celebration of National Women’s Month. Everyone, regardless of gender, is encouraged to wear purple on the remaining Wednesdays of March to show solidarity with women around the world, and to signify support for women’s empowerment and gender equality.

08 March 2023 - Philippine Embassy personnel gathered to celebrate International Women’s Day on 08 March 2023 at the Embassy’s Sentro Rizal. The women and men of the Embassy donned purple clothing to signify support for women’s empowerment and gender equality in line with the new overarching theme “WE for gender equality and inclusive society.” The Embassy will continue its #PurpleWednesdays for the rest of March in observance of National Women’s Month. #WEcanbeEquAll |
