    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

With reference to COMELEC Resolution No. 11082 of 20 November 2024, the Philippine Embassy in London informs the public that applications for accreditation as media, election observer, and civil society partner will be accepted by the Embassy until 05 April 2025 (Saturday).

The requirements include:

  • Duly accomplished Accreditation Application Form;
  • Two 2”x2” photographs (taken in the last six (6) months);
  • Endorsement Letter from the organization being represented;
  • For mass media entities, endorsement from the appropriate officer of the newspaper company, television or radio station, internet company, broadcast entity or film distributor which employs the applicant or has committed to air, distribute, or commission the work; and
  • In case of freelancers, a valid assignment letter from a bona fide media organization.

Filipinos can register as new voters, update their information, transfer their voter record, and reactivate their voter record.

Registrants are requested to bring a photocopy and their original PH passport and other proof of Philippine citizenship, as may be applicable (e.g., Reacquisition/Retention documents for dual citizens).
