    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

Ambassador and Mrs. Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr., together with Embassy officers and staff, joined the London Filipino Lesbian Movement (FilMo) in the celebration of their 13th anniversary on 19 August 2023.

The Philippine Embassy in London led the celebration of Buwan ng Wika among the Filipino community in the United Kingdom, with a “Sabayang Pagbigkas ng Tula” at Sentro Rizal London on 31 August 2023. The event was conducted in partnership with London Filipino Centre (LFC)-CIC.

Philippine folk dances were on the spotlight at the dance concert entitled “TIBOK” by the London-based Lahing Kayumanggi Dance Company and the Philippine Baranggay Folk Dance Troupe who came all the way from Manila, at the Cockpit Theatre, London on 28 August 2023.

Rodriguez joined Labor Attaché Amuerfina Reyes and the Migrant Workers Office-Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (MWO-OWWA) London in offering a requiem mass for Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and St. Simon Stock Church, London, on 27 August 2023.
