Philippine Embassy in London Marks 125th Independence Day with a Diplomatic Reception

To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Independence and Nationhood of the Philippines, Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. and Mrs. Maria Lourdes B. Locsin hosted a diplomatic reception on 13 June 2023.

Ambassador Locsin and Guest of Honor Richard Graham MP, the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to the Philippines, delivered remarks and each offered a toast to the ever-growing Philippines-UK bilateral relations.

Philippine Embassy in London Celebrates National Heritage Month

LONDON 30 May 2023 – In celebration of National Heritage Month, the Philippine Embassy in London hosted a lecture on Filipino Identity and a Baybayin workshop entitled “Mga Talá ng Alaala,” at Sentro Rizal London on 25 May 2023.

The event featured a talk and discussion on Filipino identity by former NCCA Chairperson Dr. Felipe De Leon, Jr. who joined virtually. It was followed by a workshop on Baybayin conducted by Mr. John Leyson, Baybayin Buhayin Inc. President and Director of London Filipino Centre (LFC)-CIC.
