    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

Consular Outreach Dublin Ireland Oct 2023

 

The Philippine Embassy will conduct a consular outreach in Dublin, Ireland on 27-29 October 2023 (Friday–Sunday).

For those who will collect their passports, please check the Embassy’s website and Facebook page for the list of available passports for release in Dublin.

The venue will be announced and appointments will be granted in due course.

Due to the limited slots, not all registrants may be accommodated. This notwithstanding, the outreach team will endeavour to serve as many clients as possible.

Representatives of MWO-OWWA, SSS, DOT, and COMELEC will join the outreach.

In observance of the Maritime and Archipelagic Awareness Month (Mana Mo), the Philippine Embassy in London hosted a forum last 22 September 2023, on the importance of the 2016 Arbitral Award on the South China Sea, with DFA-Maritime and Ocean Affairs Office Assistant Secretary Maria Angela Ponce as a special guest lecturer.

LONDON 29 August 2023 – The Philippine Embassy in London recently held a ceremonial signing of the Deed of Donation which bestows to the Embassy the Rachel and Clare Tanner Collection of vintage Filipiniana and other items.

The Deed of Donation was signed by Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. and Mr. David Tanner on behalf of the Tanner family. Mr. Tanner’s daughter Clare and her family were also present during the event.

The Philippine Embassy in London commemorated Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2023 with a forum entitled "Not One Inch: The Importance of the South China Sea Arbitration" conducted by Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary for Maritime and Ocean Affairs Office (MOAO) Maria Angela A. Ponce at the Embassy today.
