Last Thursday night, Louie and I watched an excerpt of the new original Filipino musical, This Is My Name by Dominique La Victoria and Melisa Camba. The show is inspired by the revolutionary story of Señora de Sanchiz in 1869 colonial Philippines. Melisa performed the lead role as part of Before It Hits, a showcase of new musicals by the West End’s best emerging writers. Follow their journey at @thisismynamemusical
