    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

Ireland Townhall 01

The Philippine Embassy in London conducted a town hall meeting with Filipino community leaders in Ireland on 13 July 2024. Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. apprised the community of the Government's projects and initiatives under the Bagong Pilipinas program.

Ambassador Locsin and Philippine British Business Council (PBBC) Vice Chairperson Dr. Gabriella Quimson attend a Diplomatic Reception at the House of Lords hosted by The Rt. Hon. Lord Howell of Guildford. 

 

Viet Nam

Ambassador Locsin warmly welcomed the Ambassador-designate of Vietnam, H.E. Mr Do Minh Hung, to the Philippine Embassy yesterday when the latter paid an introductory call. They discussed the warm and friendly relations between the Philippines and Vietnam and the history of cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed working together within the ambit of the ASEAN London Committee (ALC).

Ambassador and Mrs. Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. hosted a diplomatic reception on 13 June 2024 at The Great Hall, One Great George Street, to celebrate the 126th anniversary of Philippine independence.
