    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

Airbus Executive Vice President for International Wouter van Wersch recently called on Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. and expressed Airbus' support for the Philippines' capacity-building programs.

Ambassador and Mrs. Teodoro Locsin, Jr. joined the Umbrella Communities of the Filipino Chaplaincy of London as they held their Sinulog 2024 celebration at the Sacred Heart Church in Kilburn, London.
 
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Francisco Cruz CM, Chaplain to the Filipinos of London, together with Filipino priest Fr. Irvin Morastil.

Ambassador and Mrs. Teodoro Locsin, Jr. celebrated the Feast of the Sto. Niño alongside the Filipino community at the Sinulog festivities at Our Lady of Victories Church in Kensington, London. Celebrating the Holy Mass was Monsignor James Curry, Parish Priest, with Fr. Francis Thomas, Assistant Priest.
 
The parish of Our Lady of Victories in Kensington has been celebrating the feast in honor of Sto. Niño for 20 years now.

15th Sinulog 01

Ambassador and Mrs. Teodoro Locsin, Jr. took part in the 15th Sinulog celebration on 20 January at St. George’s Cathedral. The Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Southwark, the Most Reverend John Wilson presided during the Holy Mass.

The Feast of the Sto. Niño celebration was organized by various Filipino community organizations in the UK under the pastoral care of the Scalabrini Fathers in London.
 
The organizing Filipino community groups were the Filipino Community of the Black Nazarene UK, El Shaddai-London, Greenwich FilCom, Kapatiran Group UK, Oval FilCom, Peckham FilCom, St. Anne’s Filipino Community Association, Sto. Niño Prayer Group, SBFCC-Wandering Sto. Niño, St. Mary of the Holy Angels Filipino Community and Westminster Cathedral FilCom.
