    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

Parliament

Ambassador Locsin joined a delegation from the Philippine Senate headed by Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, joined by Senator Grace Poe and Senator Christopher Lawrence Go, for meetings at Parliament this month. The Senate delegation met with British parliamentarians for inter-parliamentary dialogue and discussions to further strengthen Philippines-UK bilateral ties.

The public is advised that the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) announced that the iRehistro platform, which is used in the ongoing overseas voter registration, will be undergoing system enhancements and maintenance from 5:00pm of 13 October 2023 (PHT) until further notice.

Dancing with Glory 3 1

The Philippine Embassy in London in collaboration with One East Asia Gallery launched an art exhibit entitled "Dancing with Glory" featuring 11 Filipino artists on 18 October 2023. Senate President Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, Senator Christopher Lawrence T. Go, and Rob Roberts MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group-Philippines graced the exhibit launch at Sentro Rizal London.

Dancing with Glory exhibit 19 to 27 Oct 2023 1 

 The Dancing with Glory exhibit, which features works of 11 Filipino artists, runs from 19 to 27 October 2023, Mondays to Fridays except holidays, at Sentro Rizal London, 10 Suffolk Street, London SW1Y 4HG.
