Ambassador Antonio M. Lagdameo joins Sir David Amess MP, Chair of the APPG-PH during the APPG-PH’s Annual General Meeting.

LONDON—Ambassador Antonio M. Lagdameo briefed the members of the All Party Parliamentary Group on the Philippines (APPG-PH) on developments in Philippines-UK relations and the upcoming Philippine-UK High-Level Meeting during the APPG-PH Annual General Meeting at Portcullis House, Westminster on 04 September 2019.

During the meeting, the Ambassador also updated the APPG-PH on recent domestic developments in the Philippines, including some of the country’s latest regional and multilateral engagements.

The Ambassador and APPG PH Chair Sir David Amess MP discussed ways on promoting and strengthening inter-parliamentary relations between Philippine and British legislators such as the establishment of a Philippines-UK Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group. END
