To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Independence and Nationhood of the Philippines, Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. and Mrs. Maria Lourdes B. Locsin hosted a diplomatic reception on 13 June 2023.

Ambassador Locsin and Guest of Honor Richard Graham MP, the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to the Philippines, delivered remarks and each offered a toast to the ever-growing Philippines-UK bilateral relations.

The much-acclaimed Filipino musicality was on full display as sopranos Andrea Manuel and Lizzie Bett Estrada rendered classical Filipino songs.  World-class Filipino products Don Papa Rum, ARC gin and vodka, and Filipino sorbetes were crowd favorites.

Guests went home with goody bags filled with Oishi products, colorful anahaw fans, beautiful pictures of Philippine tourist destinations, and good memories of a fun-filled night.
