The Embassy advises all passport applicants that starting 01 August 2022, Monday, the submission of a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) is no longer mandatory.

The applicant may opt for personal collection of his/her new passport at the Embassy’s Consular Section, once the passport is available.

A list of available passports will be posted regularly on the Embassy’s website for the applicants’ guidance. Upon confirmation of the passport’s availability, the applicant may walk-in at the Consular Section from 3:00-6:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays, except holidays, and present a valid ID to claim the passport.

If collecting for someone else, the representative must bring an original signed authorization letter, valid ID of the applicant and 1 photocopy, and valid ID of the representative and 1 photocopy.

The Consular Section will still accept SASE if passport release by mail/post is preferred by the applicant.
