Ambassador Locsin warmly welcomed the Ambassador-designate of Vietnam, H.E. Mr Do Minh Hung, to the Philippine Embassy yesterday when the latter paid an introductory call. They discussed the warm and friendly relations between the Philippines and Vietnam and the history of cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed working together within the ambit of the ASEAN London Committee (ALC).

Ambassador Locsin welcomed Mr. Ian Gibbons, Chief Executive of the UK-ASEAN Business Council (UKABC), to the Philippine Embassy yesterday. The two discussed ways in which to collaborate to support the Philippines-UK bilateral relationship, particularly through strengthening two-way trade and investment. The Ambassador invited British businesses to come to the Philippines and invest in one of the fastest growing economies in Asia.
