    The Philippine Embassy, London joins the nation in celebrating National Innovation Day (NID) 2025 on 28-30 April 2025 with the theme “FLIP” Forging Leaders of Innovation in the Philippines”. This year’s NID aims to (1) inspire the youth by engaging them in an intensified “Huddle, Analyse, Build, and Innovation” thinking workshop, (2) elevate public awareness on Filipino ingenuity and creativity through the holding of National and Regional Innovation Awards or the “Filipinnovation Awards”, and (3) honour Filipino innovators of “Filipinnovators” who have made significant contributions in promoting and advancing  innovative solutions in their respective fields.

ATLL Meets Indonesian Desra 01 

Ambassador Locsin met Ambassador Desra Percaya of Indonesia this morning and reaffirmed the Philippines’ deep regard for Indonesia as a close friend and strong partner. He also expressed the Philippines’ full support for Indonesia’s chairmanship of ASEAN this year.

Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr presented his credentials to Mr. Kitack Lim, the Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) last 22 March 2023.

Ambassador Locsin, Jr expressed his readiness to work for a more robust partnership of the Philippines with the IMO, focusing on the protection and promotion of the rights of seafarers as the shipping industry transitions to a green economy.

21 March 2023 - Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. today presented his open Letter of Credence to Ms. Victoria Busby OBE, Director of Protocol and Vice Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) at the Lancaster House.

Today Ambassador Locsin paid an introductory call on Minister of State for the Indo Pacific Anne-Marie Trevelyan at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). They discussed practical ways to enhance Philippines-UK relations and strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as defense, maritime, and energy security. Ambassador Locsin also thanked Minister Trevelyan for the UK's donation of AstraZeneca vaccines to fight the Covid-19 pandemic and for honoring the hard work of Filipino healthcare workers in the UK.
