Ambassador personally extended his appreciation to APO Metropolitan England for its Palamig sa Tag-init sa Pasuguan, an annual food and drinks sharing with consular applicants during the hot summer season. Its winter counterpart, Pa-kape sa Pasuguan, is also undertaken annually by APO Metropolitan England. Consular clients enjoyed the refreshing drinks while savoring a variety of Filipino kakanin and other sweet treats.

Ambassador Locsin welcomed Secretary Alfredo Pascual of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to the Philippine Embassy  in London today. Secretary Pascual is in the UK to promote the Philippines as an attractive investment destination to overseas investors.

 Myla Arceno, the first Filipino Mayor of Stevenage, England, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Locsin at the Embassy today and presented an artwork depicting bayanihan, a fundamental aspect of Filipino culture wherein the community works together to achieve a common goal. Mayor Myla is a cardiac rehabilitation physiotherapist in the NHS.
