The occasion was an opportunity to celebrate FWA UK’s achievements and contributions to the Filipino community in the UK and to the Philippines. The gathering included games, salo-salo of Filipino cuisine and fellowship with the attendees.

British Association of Filipino Physicians and Surgeons Officers and Members Pay a Courtesy Call on Ambassador Locsin

Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. warmly received the  British Association of Filipino Physicians and Surgeons (BAFPS) at the Embassy recently.  The BAFPS is composed of medical and surgical professionals with roots both in the UK and the Philippines, with DR. Kevin Beatson as President. Ambassador Locsin expressed the Embassy's support to the BAFPS' initiatives, such as partnerships with local health systems in the Philippines to share knowledge between local doctors and international medical professionals.
