Bringing Drugs / Medicine into the Philippines

Over-the-counter drugs labelled in English are widely available in pharmacies/drugstores in the Philippines.

If, visitors, however, wish to bring in their own supply of prescription drugs/medicines, they may do so but only in quantities sufficient for the duration of their stay in the country.

They should also bring a letter/certificate from their physician stating the condition for which they are receiving treatment and the dosage.

For those travelling onward to another country, a separate quantity of drugs should be carried in a sealed container and declared before exiting the country.
