Fifteen Creative Innovators Programme Fellows embarked on a week-long study tour in the United Kingdom to learn the best practices from the British creative industry and to engage with counterparts who are successfully managing various creative hubs in the United Kingdom (UK). The study tour is part of a one-year fellowship aimed at building the next generation of creative community leaders in the Philippines through a series of mentorships, management trainings, grants, and networking opportunities in the Philippines, ASEAN, and the UK. This year’s creative innovators represent creative hubs from all over the Philippines. The programme is a collaboration between the Department of Trade and Industry Design Center and the British Council, in partnership with the Philippine Trade Training Center, the Apl.d.Ap Foundation, and Thames International. The creative innovators gathered at the Philippine Embassy in London on the last day of their study tour for the first Philippine Embassy Hangout which brought together several movers and trailblazers in the Philippine and British creative industry.
