The Philippines’ Department of Tourism (DOT) presents Madrid Fusion Manila, the largest gastronomic event of 2015 which will bring together renowned chefs from all over the globe to showcase the best of Spanish and Philippine cuisine. From April 24 to 26, the SMX Convention Centre in Pasay City, Philippines, will host a variety of premium products from Spanish wines and cheeses to Philippine rice and liqueurs.

Organised in conjunction with the DOT, the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) along with Foro Debate and Arum Estrategias de Internacionalización, Madrid Fusion Manila is amongst the major events in Manila to be staged as part of Visit Philippines Year 2015.

International delegates and students are being offered an Early Bird Rate which will give a 20% discount, available until March 31.

The event is part of the Tapas Festival, a celebration of over 300 years of shared history between the Philippines and Spain. For the entire month of April, the Philippines will be the centre of gastronomic adventure in Asia. Gourmet meals from Michelin-rated international chefs such as Andoni Luis Aduriz, Elena Arzak and Alvin Leung will be featured in restaurants, food tours and tastings, roving food trucks, bar crawls and many more.

Madrid Fusion is an annual gastronomic congress which started in Madrid in 2003. This year will mark the first time the event will take place in the Philippines.
