Ambassador Teodor L. Locsin, Jr. and Mme. Maria Lourdes Locsin led the wreath-laying ceremony at the bust of Dr. Rizal on 19 June 2024, as Sentro Rizal London paid tribute to Dr. Jose Rizal on his 163rd birth anniversary.

Officers of Knights of Rizal – Area of UK and Ireland and Kababaihang Rizalista Inc. London, as well as some Filipino community leaders, participated in the commemoration.

Ambassador and Mme. Locsin also led the recitation of Dr. Rizal’s poem, Sa Aking Mga Kabata, in its original Filipino version and its English translation.
