The Philippine Embassy showcased the “Aguila” collection of Filipino fashion designer John Herrera and the stylish bags and pursas of Filipina-Austrian fashion accessory designer Ninja Evangelista during the London charity event “Weaving International Fashion – National Dress Catwalk.” The diplomatic fundraiser was participated in by 16 other Embassies at the Kensington Town Hall on 11 May 2024. 

The Filipiniana gowns of John Herrera, are a modern interpretation of the “terno”, on which images of the Philippine eagle are collaged for a unique print. The bags and pursas crafted by Filipina-Austrian fashion accessory designer Ninja Evangelista beautifully complemented John’s Filipiniana outfits.
