Ambassador Locsin welcomed to the Embassy UK-born Filipino chef, entrepreneur and media personality Chef Rex De Guzman, who wowed British audiences in Jamie Oliver’s TV cooking competition, The Great Cookbook Challenge. 3. It was a double celebration of Filipino Food Month and National Literature Month this April at the Philippine Embassy in London when it held its two-in-one event “Kain Na!” (Let’s Eat!) !
The event featured a cooking demonstration by Filipino Chef Roni Bandong of RoniB’s Kitchen and the launch of the book "We Cook Filipino" by UK-based Filipino anthologist and author Jacqueline Chio-Lauri.
