Ms. Louie Carullo Horne, 2023 Britsh Empire Medal Awardee for her services to Nursing, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. on 17 January 2024. During the call, the Ambassador congratulated Ms. Horne for the recognition bestowed by His Majesty the King, and lauded her stellar service in the nursing profession that spans twenty three years. 

 

Ms. Horne is an Associate Director of Nursing, East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard Clinical Research Fellow.  She is an advocate for the international nursing community and is an active member of various Filipino community groups.
