London, 16 July – Ambassador and Madame Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. opened the Philippine Booth at Source Fashion UK with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Olympia, London.

Source Fashion UK is Europe’s newest responsible sourcing show featuring sustainable fashion manufacturers and suppliers from all over the world.

Speaking at the Philippine booth, Ambassador Locsin said that nothing is more universal than fashion and fabrics. He said fashion is what makes countries different and also all the same.

The Philippine booth featured seven exhibitors showcasing a mix of traditional and contemporary Filipino elements which champion both creativity and sustainability. The participating Filipino exhibitors include Lin-Ay by Binky Pitogo, Artisanat Handmade, Orient Meadow Export Corporation, MJorian, Virtucio, Piesa, and Itney Illaud Heritage Textiles.
