All Filipino citizens who are planning to return to the Philippines until 31 January 2021 are urged to cancel or postpone their trips in order to avoid inconveniences and possible additional expenses related to the more stringent measures that are currently in place.

  • All inbound passengers are required to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine at a DOH-accredited facility even if they obtained a negative RT-PCR test.  Alternative arrangements such as home quarantine will not be allowed.
  • Quarantine facilities in the Philippines are currently limited, which means that there is a possibility for airlines to turn away passengers in the event that quarantine facilities have already been booked up to full capacity.  Some airlines are already refusing passengers to board on these grounds.
  • Those who manage to book a space at a quarantine facility are expected to pay for their accommodations.
Travelers are reminded to regularly consult with their chosen airlines closer to their date of departure as policies change frequently in response to developments in the current situation.
