In order to safeguard the health and well-being of our consular personnel and applicants, we are strictly enforcing the following:

  • Appointment system.  Only those with confirmed appointments will be accommodated.  Walk-in applicants will not be entertained. Those with appointment must arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to avoid congregation of people in front of the Embassy, which is strictly prohibited by the new lockdown announcement of the UK Government.

  •  No escort policy, except for minor applicants, senior citizens, and those requiring special assistance.

  •  No mask, no entry.  All applicants must wear their face mask over their nose and mouth at all times.

  •  Cashless payments.  Processing fees must be settled by card or contactless.  Cash payments will not be accepted.

Finally, all applicants with confirmed appointments from 5 November 2020 to 2 December 2020 are urged to heed UK Government advice by postponing all non-essential travels and to consult immediately with local authorities regarding current travel restrictions to and from their counties / boroughs.  Those who are unable to attend to their appointments may cancel or reschedule their appointments through their VFS account.
