The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London will be offering Filipino 2 (Tagalog) classes from 14 January to 17 March 2020. The classes aim to provide a thorough introduction to Filipino (Tagalog), covering the four key skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing; and offering a good balance between communicative activities, structure practice and grammar. The classes will help students develop an understanding of the main standard features of pronunciation, how to read and write and to build up basic knowledge about the Filipino language as well as basic awareness of Philippine culture and society.

New students will receive a copy of a comprehensive textbook that will cover content for Filipino language levels 1-4. Partial bursaries are available.
