Additional Requirements for First-time Adult Passport Applicants with Delayed Registration of Birth

Pursuant to instructions received from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy will require the following additional documents from adult applicants with delayed registration of birth who are applying for passport issuance for the first time:

  1. Sequential or ‘growing-up’ photos;
  2. Additional forms of photo-identifications, e.g. old driver’s license, old student or work ID card, old social club membership, etc;
  3. Documentary evidence to show use of name, e.g. payslips, bank statement, college registration, etc., and
  4. Proof of address, e.g. utility bills, official correspondence from public or private sector, etc.

Affected applicants should bring the original documents and one photocopy each.

Applicants may be required to provide further information and shall be subject to interview by a consular official.
