The Philippine Embassy warns the public of the increasing number of alleged scams involving individuals offering high-earning products, through investments in foreign currency trading or similar schemes.

The public is advised to be prudent in dealing with any offers of investment, and are encouraged to check with the Philippines’ Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to check if the individual or the company offering said products are licensed. The public is likewise advised to stay informed and seek advice from reputable financial professionals before making any investment decisions.
