In celebration of National Women’s Month, which honours women and their contributions to nation-building, the Embassy will continue its #PurpleWednesdays for the month of March.

What is #PurpleWednesdays?

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) encourages everyone to wear purple on all the Wednesdays of March to signify support for women’s empowerment and gender equality. By wearing purple, we call attention to the need to protect, promote, and fulfil women’s rights so that women can maximize their potential and welfare.

In support of this endeavour, the Embassy encourages all clients, regardless of gender, to wear purple on the remaining Wednesdays of March (March 15, March 22, and March 29).
